Well, I have no experiance with the gun. But I have heard it is a decent spring rifle for the money. If you do the teflon tape mod, and take the weights out, you can achieve over 400FPS. In my opinion, though, I think that the USR-11 is a better choice simply because it can take VSR parts.
The rifle that looks interesting is the new JG G-SPEC copy. 400FPS outta the box, and complete mauri copy on the inside. Price: $120

Well, I dont own one personally, but my friend owns one, he uses it in our backyard spring wars. Its pretty accurate, has a nice weight to it, and shoots a nice 317fps with a .2g chronoed. Its very good at keeping people pinned down in a spring war, but if charged upon its kind of useless because of its size and cocking bolt. The magazines can sometimes be a pain, overall I say its a nice gun. I dont know how it performs in the sniper role against AEGs and Gas guns upgraded and stock though.

Mine shot a 313 fps w/ .23's It's nice for a backyard war. It can outshoto AEG and GAS, but the USR-11 is a better choose if you want to upgrade. If you want to use just for backyard wars it's great.

i can tell you why not to get it.

USR-11 is far better, same price and upgradeable. dont ever get UTG if you do, you should be forced into an eternity of drinking your own urine

It is very popular. VERY popular. I think this is due to so much advertising and so many stores having it. I think it outsells the USR. But there is no real reason to buy the UTG over the USR. That is, unless you actually want something worse.
