So anyways if any of you played the beta for BattleField 2142 you know what I'm talking about. Basically a cylinder to place in a revolver so you can carry like 6 cartridges in a tube and just place the tube in the gun. XP

bf2142.com/content/P33_PereiraBasically the cylinder where you house the bullets in is a revolving cylinder than can be taken out of the weapon, the 6 bullets are pre-loaded in the cylinder and it changes everytime you shoot. Expend the 6 bullets take the cylinder out, and reload a new one, more effective for skirmishing

I think some of the Tanaka single action armys use a removable cyclinder. Sounds like a great idea for other revolvers.
