In a BV unit the barrel moves rather than a piston or anything like that. www.classicairsoft.net/images/bv.htm^more info^ It's really common for classics which are the way to go.... screw aegs....

okay, update, ive acquired a wooden dowel and teflon tape to make a sealed bolt, i am looking for a valve that wil relese a burst of gas every time i pull the trigger so it will be semi auto, because i found out that it is not wise to be emptying an entire tank of propane if im playing indoors(cqb)

I have a few comments.
First, I don't see a new concept, really. So, this is an automatic GBB rifle? If so, that has been attempted before, and GBB gas rifles were the "classic" airsoft guns which started the sport out. The only improvement is that your gun has a (pretty much) internal gas tank, instead of internal. This has not been done with classics, because there is never enough room in the gun for a tank. If you did fit a large tank in, it would be very heavy. But a small tank wouldn't have enough capacity. So, I guess the only way you can fit a good-sized one is by making a paintball gun layout like you drew in your paint photos (which are really good by the way).
Another small thing is that HPA would be a better choice than propane, because HPA is more consistant, can be used in low temperatures, and is cheap and easily accessible.
