Stndalone 40mm Launcher

Well, I'm designing and building a 40mm standalone grenade launcher based off of a madbull XM203 long launcher. It takes design cues from the L96, as well as some sci-fi twists. Here is the oh so swell MS Paint mockup:

The body will be made out of red pine, and stained. I think the contrast of black metal and natural wood will be pleasing.
I call her Boomer! I'm starting to form the stock on Wednesday. Wish me luck!

Luckily I work for a company that has pros at wood working. And all the jigsaws and planers I could ever need! I still need to sell my glock to buy the actual launcher, but hey, I'll have a nice looking base until then

perhaps an actual trigger would be better than the button just being surrounded by a trigger guard. anyways, this is gonna be HOT!!!
