LOL... Sorry Guys, Ive been terrible with the whole posting thing. Between school, work and my gf, ive had about 0 time to do anything. But things are letting up a bit, So i should be on more often.
Are the shells that Redwolf uses in its morter just normal m203 shells?
Ok.. Anyways, Im thinking of biulding a morter here soon too. The idea with the nail, at the bottom of the PVC is very simple. And i like it. So i think we should stick with it. We just need to find a way to make it look real. And maybe have other sorts of projectiles that we can shoot out of it. I saw this M203 round that shoots out a rubber bullet type of thing. A big rubber bullet. I think we could somehow incorperate one of those to fire some sort of shell that goes up in the air... and when it tips over... it dumps the bb's downward. In a more confined area. Im thinking just useing normal shells... The bb's would be too spread apart and not cause enough damage.
So first step is we need to get that grande shell that shoots the rubber things, and see if its possible to construct something cheap, and easy to make, that can be disposible, that will work with it.
Tell me what you guys think...
Sorry i type alot.

Im new to this site, but Ive been on ASR for a while and was impressed with your custom work. I too have been working on an idea for an airsoft mortar. I cut the loading nozzle of the top of a 134a can, and gorilla glued that to the base of PVC which would then be glued to a PVC pipe. The way the Madbull grenades work is by being filled like a gas gun mag, and when dropped into the tube, the nozzle would release the valve therefore sending its contents a good distance. This could also be rigged to airsoft guns as easy to make M203 launchers and such. Im not really sure how the nail idea would work liek you said, but our ideas sound simliar. I think the nail would damage the grenade over time though.
