why is there a rubber band on it? how does it perform?

the rubber band was origionaly there to help keep the little knob down so the stock wouldn't collaps by itself, but now after a few minutes of filing sone select areas, the rubber band is no longer needed, and check my review for the performance under pistol reviews |

I have a well r8. it is AWSOME! Shoots really hard and is more accurate than people think.
